The piece count trick

A “20-piece” storage set is usually ten boxes and ten lids. A “30-piece” cookware set counts every spatula and every lid. Neither is a lie exactly, but both make a set sound like twice what it is.

So every set on this site states what the count actually contains. It makes some of our listings look smaller than the same product elsewhere, and that is the point.

Non-stick is a coating with a life

Metal utensils and high heat shorten it, whatever the box says about being scratch proof. That is why the utensil sections here lead with silicone and wood.

Where a maker states an induction base, an oven-safe temperature or a dishwasher rating, we publish it. Where they do not, we leave it out rather than assume the pan can take it.

How we write listings

Every description is written here from the manufacturer specification. Piece counts, capacities and materials come from the maker; anything they do not state is left blank.

We do not publish customer reviews on this site, and there are none to find here. We are a retailer, not a manufacturer, and nothing here is described as made by us.

Tax

Mahalaxmi Home Appliances is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST: turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory. GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can be issued. The figure printed beside an item is the whole amount payable.
