Cancellation Policy

An order can be cancelled at no cost any time before it is handed to the carrier. After that it becomes a return, and the Return and Refund Policy applies.

How to cancel

Write to orders@mahalaxmi.shop with the order number and the words “cancel order” in the subject line, or call during Customer service: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM IST, daily. We confirm in writing. A cancellation that is not confirmed by us has not happened, so please do not assume it from an unanswered message.

Cancelling a large set

Cookware sets are heavy and are booked onto a carrier as soon as they are packed, so tell us early. Before dispatch a cancellation costs nothing.

After dispatch

Once the parcel is with the carrier we cannot recall it. Refuse the delivery, or accept it and start a return within 10 days. On a refused Cash on Delivery order nothing has been paid, so there is nothing to refund; on a refused prepaid order the refund is issued once the parcel is back with us.

When we cancel an order

We cancel from our side, and tell you why, when an item turns out to be out of stock after the order was placed, when a delivery address is incomplete and cannot be confirmed, when repeated delivery attempts fail, or when an order looks fraudulent. A prepaid order cancelled by us is refunded in full within 5-7 business days.

Tax

Not registered for GST — a small online retailer whose turnover stays under the applicable registration threshold in India. GST is not charged separately and no GST tax invoice with a registration number is issued. The listed price is the amount payable.
