Return and Refund Policy

Returns run for 10 days from delivery, for items that are unused, complete and in the original packing.

Damaged or short on arrival

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the carton as it arrived and of the item. Keep the packing until the matter is closed — a carrier claim is decided on the carton as much as on the contents. This applies to a short count as much as to a breakage. We then replace the item or refund it in full, including any shipping paid, and we arrange the return collection ourselves.

Used cookware and opened sets

A pan that has been cooked in cannot be returned, and neither can a storage set with pieces missing. Check the count and the base before the first use. A pan that is faulty or arrives damaged is replaced at our cost and that is a separate route entirely.

Changed your mind

You may return an unused item within 10 days of delivery. Write to orders@mahalaxmi.shop with the order number; we issue a return authorisation within 1-2 business days with the address to send it to. Please do not ship anything back before that — an unannounced parcel cannot be matched to an order. Return postage on a change-of-mind return is yours; on a damaged, faulty, short or wrong item it is ours.

Refunds

Once the return reaches us and has been checked, a refund is issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. A UPI payment goes back to the account it came from. A Cash on Delivery order is refunded by bank transfer to an account in the name of the person who placed the order, and for that we need the account details in writing. How quickly the money then appears is up to your bank.

Tax

Not registered for GST — a small online retailer whose turnover stays under the applicable registration threshold in India. GST is not charged separately and no GST tax invoice with a registration number is issued. The listed price is the amount payable.

Exchanges

We do not offer a direct exchange. If you would like a different item, return the unused piece in its original packaging within the return window for a refund and place a fresh order.
